W&H Med: International Dorsal Preservation Course in Coventry
On April 17 and 18, 2026, W&H Med hosted an exclusive hands-on course on dorsal preservation in rhinoplasty in Coventry, United Kingdom. Fifteen experienced surgeons from seven countries took advantage of the two-day training to deepen their practical knowledge in modern dorsum-preserving techniques under the guidance of renowned experts.
The two-day intensive course was deliberately designed for a small, international group, thus enabling a particularly high level of practical training and intensive professional exchange. Following in-depth theoretical sessions, the participants were able to immediately apply their knowledge in practice and perform dorsal preservation procedures under realistic conditions using the W&H Med Console, which combines a surgical motor and piezo technology in a single system.
Expertise at the Highest Level
The course was led by three internationally recognised rhinoplasty specialists: Dr Alwyn D’Souza (United Kingdom), Dr Anil Joshi (United Kingdom), and Dr Milos Kovacevic (Germany). With their longtime clinical experience and didactic expertise, they guided the participants through all course modules and provided practical insights into advanced surgical techniques. Particularly appreciated were the direct professional exchange with the experts, the personal supervision during the hands-on sessions, and the immediate implementation of new surgical approaches.
Dorsal preservation requires a high level of precision and control. In this course, we were able to intensively discuss and directly apply modern techniques within a highly focused group. Especially during the hands-on sessions, participants had the opportunity to experience the benefits of piezo technology firsthand.
