MEDICA 2019 Düsseldorf, Germany: From November 18th to 21st, over five thousand exhibitors presented their latest products and ideas at the international trade show. W&H, which successfully launched its new medical product line last year, took centre stage with its extended range of sterilizers.

Each sterilizer is adapted to meet the differing needs: the Lexa, designed for North America; the tried-and-tested MS, Lisa and Lina; and the new Lara. Each one having its unique features allows the correct choice for any need. The surgical motor Amadeo was another highlight at the W&H booth. With its highly versatile fields of application in ear, nose and throat, oral and maxillofacial, thoracic and spinal surgery, as well as special orthopaedic surgery; drew a huge crowd. The W&H team was kept busy explaining the product functionalities as well as the work processes in the fields of sterilization and surgical treatment.

The new tagline “Composed for Medical Excellence”, combined with selected products and brands, rounded off the presence of the new brand at the booth. This presence and the Med campaign caused an impact and established the connection to the Mozart City of Salzburg, near W&H's production site.

Live coverage of the trade fair and product information was available to the online community via Facebook @W&H Med and Instagram @whmedical. This high level of social media interaction complemented the trade fair appearance and increased brand awareness.
